Colorado is beautiful, and it's hard on a house. The sun is stronger at a mile high, so color fades and wood dries out faster. Wind drives grit and snow into every seam. Then the days warm up, the nights freeze, and any water that got behind the paint pushes it loose. We've painted Denver exteriors through all of it since 2004.

That's why most of a good exterior is work you'll never see. We wash the house, scrape what's loose, sand it smooth, fill the cracks and caulk the gaps around windows and doors so moisture can't get in. Then a good exterior primer, then the paint. Skip that and a paint job looks fine for a summer. Do it right and it holds for years.

Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore are our standard, and the product depends on the surface. Wood siding, stucco, brick, metal railings and decks each need something different, and we'll walk you through it. As a rough guide, wood siding needs paint every three to seven years, and stucco every five to fifteen.

Denver has a lot of older homes, and they're some of our favorite work. Big eaves, old window frames, painted brick. Homes built before 1978 can have lead paint, and we're EPA lead-safe certified to handle it the right way, for your family and for the folks next door.

We cover your plants and patio and keep the job tidy for the whole block. If you're in an HOA, we check the approved colors and the rules before we start, so you don't paint twice.

Your exterior carries our 5-year warranty. The price we quote is the price you pay, and we don't get paid until the job is done and you're happy with it. That's been our rule since day one.
